North American Palladium(PAL) a Canadian company has been making some news lately for their steady climb in value, and for a recent discovery of a rare platinum group mineral zone.
They also make claims that their stock has risen over 28% during this economic crisis. Is this really the case? Should you jump on board and invest in this company?
With further research, we have found that this stock may be a solid investment. It has fallen considerably, losing over 50% of its value since August 2008, but it appears to have bottomed out like many other stocks, and is slowly crawling its way out of the bargain bin. Right now it is running at $2.39 per share, and its overall trend is up. But this is a slow climb, and is not an overnight billionaire stock. It does however look to be making some ground and with its discovery of a PGM zone, this should in the next few years become more valuable.
They are currently drilling on this mine and it should complete by the first quarter 2009.
We stress you do your own due dilligence in studying this stock as we are not financial or stock market advisers. We prefer our investments to be in physical assets such as precious metals, businesses, and real estate. We consider palladium to be a solid investment, and buy in it rather than the futures market or mining companies.
